Do’s unique design includes a shaped seat and contoured back panel. This can be adjusted via an accessible lumbar pad. Easy to reach, the pad can be adjusted by the user whilst they are sat in the chair, offering a difference of 100m. The ergonomic curve is designed to support the correct sitting position. Default Do models use a weight balancing synchronous mechanism. This encourages movement throughout the day with up to 20° recline. The mechanism helps the chair move for rather than against the user, adapting to the user’s working position. A travel limiter can be added which allows the chair to be locked upright and also has one of three recline positions. Travel limiters are pre-built into Do chair during manufacture, requiring no assembly. As such, the travel limiter must be purchased alongside the product and cannot be removed at any point.
Do chairs offer both seat height and seat depth alteration. This is operated through two levers found under the seat. The Do chair has a height variation of 130mm, more than the usual available. Its steel barrel gas lift is robust, and the full structure can be disassembled for maintenance. The model is easy to clean and instruction for maintaining the fabric is provided with delivery.
